'The Power' is rolling out in 18 countries
Launched at MIPTV 2024 by Studio 89 and Dreamspark, instant hit format THE POWER is rolling out in 18 countries.
The daily format premiered on French commercial broadcaster W9 on April 1st 2024 and was the most successful launch of a new format in its time slot since 2022.
Now the format has been commissioned in 5 additional countries for 2025 launch; in Germany (ProSiebenSat.1 and Joyn), Hungary (RTL Hungary), Greece (Skai TV) and in Mexico and Romania. In the USA, NBCUniversal is developing a U.S. version of The Power for NBC.
The format rights have also been granted to Vincent TV (Netherlands), to Fremantle (Spain, Portugal, Italy) and to Banijay Nordics (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland). In the UK and Australia, NBCU and Matchbox respectively have acquired the rights to the format.

The 2nd season of The Power is currently in production with a release on W9 in 2025.
